Not so long ago me and my friend went to Greece for a girly long weekend, we choose Zante Island. Greek cuisine was mostly new to me (apart from salad, which wasn’t actually similar to how the real one is made!) so imagine how excited I was to try new things! Tirokafteri is a spicy feta dip made with chillies, feta cheese and olive oil – it’s really easy to make, you only need a handful of ingredients but it tastes amazing. I would suggest serving it with pita bread chips or fresh baguette. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
- 250 g good quality feta cheese
- 6 red chillies, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp red wine vinegar
- 100 ml kalamata olive oil
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blitz until smooth. Serve chilled.
